Users must therefore access Twitter solely through the Web or via smartphone apps, not simple SMS. Might this be at least one factor in its low rate of adoption?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6850103531860448581.post-44066818931001675212010-11-03T02:08:10.474-07:002010-11-03T02:08:10.474-07:00Great!! As Italian I could bet that Twitter will never be as popular as Facebook in our Country for its 'cool' environment (as opposite of warm). Italians like to express their opinions, and they have so many words!! 140 is nothing. It’s not enough to say good morning. :) (TOO SHORT!)
I want to tell you a story about SMS & mafia. Recently the authorities have discovered that Mafia people that are in jail was receiving code messages through SMS sent to a popular Television Programme regarding Football that is given every Sunday. People in general can send their SMS to the TV programme, which will be displayed in a lower bar of the screen. So the outside –jail mafia messengers used to send SMS to the one in jail for updating.
Another interesting note about SMS in Italy, is that actually it is reported as the main reason for the end of a love relations. Usually the wife or husband discovers the secret affair of his/her partner exchanging a huge amount of secret lovely and hot messages on their mobile. Anyway, we cannot do it without SMS!!Romalivehttp://www.romalive.biz/noreply@blogger.com
